New Mexico Mission Trip

June 2009

A group went out to work with Mark and Gina Morris on the Navajo Nation Reservation in New Mexico.

What a blessing it was to be an encouragement to them, as well as ministering to some of the Navajo children during the VBS.

There was a lot of hard work, but God was gracious and we accomplished more than we set out to!

There was time for some shopping at the flea market and visiting the Chaco Culture site.

The Trip Out

We were able to help out with the VBS at the nearby church.

On Sunday, we were visitors to the local church.

Some of the service was done in the Navajo language

Some pictures from the Chaco Canyon site, and from around the area.

We learned how to make "Navajo Tacos!"

Then it was time to head home.

And as the sun sets slowly in the western sky, we look forward to returning again some day!
